Job Type: Project Manager

Location: Monroe Township, NJ

Compensation: $60/hr+

A leading MEP firm hiring for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This Project Manager will be responsible for managing the design phase within MEP. The types of projects will be within pharma, life science, education, and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of project management experience, engineering degree, and familiarity with new construction/renovation projects.

What you’ll do:

• Performs a variety of highly skilled duties such as assembling, coordinating, and managing multidisciplinary technical review teams

• Manage the design and development of MEP construction documents

• Interface with engineering discipline leads for proper resource allocation

• Direct and oversee project teams for the duration of planning, design, and construction

• Manage and control project progress throughout the design

• Ensure timely completion of activities and adherence to project milestones

• Ensure adherence to internal project budgets

• Develop scope of work and fees for proposals

• Liaise with clients and maintain client relationships

• 30-40% travel for site visits, client meetings in NJ and PA

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in mechanical or electrical consulting engineering

• Familiarity with new construction and renovation projects

• Ability to write reports and proposals

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously

• Management of design phase (meeting deliverables and milestones, QA/QC of designs)

• Client Management experience w/ GC, Architect, and End Owner

• Bachelor's degree within Engineering, design, or mechanical
