Job Description

A healthcare client in the Nashville, TN area is looking at add a Principal Data Architect to their team. This resource will be responsible for developing and implementing an overall organizational data architecture, including full life cycle data model designs, database development standards, implementation and management of enterprise-wide Big Data Architecture within GCP. Responsibilities will also include identifying data sources, both internal and external, and working out a plan for data management that is aligned with organizational data strategy. This resource will serve as a subject matter expert in order to provide leadership and assistance to the Data Intelligence and Business Analytics team. Acting as a customer-facing advisor with broad technical skills, robust industry knowledge, and a consultative approach this position will communicate complex technical topics to non-technical business and senior executives. This resource will be required to be onsite two days per week in Franklin, TN.

Skills and Requirements

2+ years of GCP/BigQuery experience

7+ years of experience with data domain/warehouse architecture and/or engineering

7+ years of experience with hands-on experience with implementing data management solutions

5+ years of experience with ETL, ELT, or Python programming-- CI/CD

Strong leader and business interaction skills

Experience supporting full lifecycle data analytics development, including architecture, design, testing, and deployment

SQL

Bachelor's degree in a related field Master's degree in related field
