Zimmerman Advertising Media Analyst in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
This role will be the liaison between our Strategic Marketing Intelligence Group and our Media Division to encourage technological and fluid growth for our clients. The Marketing Scientist will provide accurate, timely data and insights for clients and internal stakeholders across the Agency. Participate in meetings regularly with account services and clients to assess media performance and to identify and implement improvements. They will Improve, execute, and effectively communicate significant analysis and insights that identify meaningful trends and opportunities across the business.
Responsibilities:
Create actionable roadmaps for improving how data is presented and explained to clients
Help develop and organize KPIs in line with business needs
Conduct full lifecycle of analytics projects (including pulling, manipulating, and exporting data) from Microsoft Power BI and other third-party data sources
Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for clients and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement
Prepare, analyze, and summarize analytical results by creating reports and flowcharts
Evaluate KPIs, provide ongoing reports, and recommend business plan updates
Analyzing data and drawing insights on how to improve membership and spend media dollars efficiently
Exporting, organizing, and presenting analytic data to clients on a weekly basis
Managing (3) Annalect India team members who process 4 primary types of reports for the top 13 clients on a monthly basis
Managing (1) junior analyst, that assists with market research, pulling data from Power BI, and manipulating data using Microsoft Excel and other third-party applications
Make recommendations and improve current reporting structures/frequency to best suit the clients current and future needs
Provide internal analytic support and insights for account services, media teams, and POD leads
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, BI, MIS, Math, Statistics, Computer Science or similar
5+ years of paid media experience at an agency or in-house, with demonstrated experience managing large-scale, cross-channel media campaigns and budgets for brands
Extensive experimentation knowledge and mindset with a proven track record of executing A/B tests, optimizing campaigns, and translating data into insights
Strategic and analytical thinker, with proficiency in SQL and media analytics and tracking platforms
Experience with Python, BI reporting (i.e., Chart.io, Looker, Tableau) and databases (dimensional and relational), including data ingestion and transformation.
Adapt at building cross-functional relationships and establishing influence with both internal and external partners
Knowledge of marketing tech stack and digital data technologies (DMPs, GA, pixel tracking)
Transform data into a digestible and presentable story based on the audience
