Volt is immediately hiring for a Supply Chain Manager in Everett, WA As a Supply Chain Manager you will: Will be responsible for owning, driving and leading a team of professionals within our Procurement, Planning, and Warehousing teams. This is a high-visible succession role which will work with all levels within our organization and provide you a diverse ability to grow professionally! What you will own: * Continually develop and implement long-term strategic plans to align with company goals in a timely manner; research improvements, create proposals, establish new processes and procedures related to the Supply Chain * Leadership of Supply Chain team members; owning the management and development of a superior Supply Chain workforce in all phases of the employee lifecycle. Responsible for coaching, mentoring, supporting the development of effective KPIs and annual goals aligned to company goals, providing effective performance feedback and accountability. * Collaboration with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain * Successful management of and continuous improvement for: * Supplier management process. Ensuring suppliers are meeting or exceeding KPIs * The commodity strategy for all product lines. Ensuring alignment with the goals of each business unit * Supply chain data and analysis. Ensuring current and detailed inventories of materials and supplies in all phases of the manufacturing process * Supply and material inventory levels. Ensuring inventory levels support planned targets including tracking and keeping all teams accountable for KPIs, creation and implementation of mitigation and recovery plans for below plan targets * Shipment and transportation routes. Continually optimizing with focus on consolidation of warehousing and distribution * Consistent analysis of current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company. Creating and defining ABC analysis required for cycle counting and purchasing parameters * Supplier Contracts. Lead and strategically negotiate long-term agreements (LTAs) and master service agreements (MSAs) with suppliers; consistently ensuring cost reduction, favorable terms, and ability to meet commitments * Assess the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; consistently ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials * Effectively and consistently maintain required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production * Actively participate as an advisory member of the product development team, providing information and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials * Actively participate with teams coordinating engineering changes, product line extension, or new product launches to ensure timely and orderly material and production flow transitions * Oversee and ensure the company's compliance with all international laws and regulations regarding global trade requirements including but not limited to: EAR and ITAR classification, licensing of products and technical data, foreign national screening and licensing, denied party screening, export clearance of company's goods and technology and recordkeeping This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
