This is a full-time position working 4, 10hr shifts $50-$56.73

• Perform duties required to install & lay pipes for storm/sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains. Ensuring proper alignment & grade, including measuring & cutting.
• Check and verify the accuracy of grades, elevations, and slopes using surveying instruments such as levels and transits.
• Collaborate w/project manager, foreman & other team members to coordinate pipe-laying activities to ensure project objectives are met.
• Interpret construction plans and specifications to determine pipe layout and installation requirements. 
• Proven experience as a pipe layer or grade checker, preferably in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of pipe laying techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read, and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using surveying instruments such as levels, lasers, transits, gps, and grade rods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying grades, elevations, and slopes.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Effective verbal & communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Comply w/Federal, state and local regualtions, including appropriate use of PPE
