Summary of Position The Senior Network and Cloud Engineer will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, operating, and supervising Nexon America's enterprise network framework. This includes providing necessary infrastructure, systems and devices for all production and testing of online gaming services delivery and business systems. Responabilities will also involve executing on daily operations, implementing upgrades/improvements and working on other IT projects for the growth of Nexon America's business operations. We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model. Job Responsibilities • Design, install, configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, wireless networks, firewalls, servers and storage systems • Build and troubleshoot enterprise-wide scalable network operations on cloud platforms • Support, manage and operate the CDN infrastructure • Document and update the IT enterprise network systems’ processes and procedures • Participate in business growth, stability and improvement projects • Identify trainings, process improvements and vendor support issues. Mentor Junior Engineers • Other duties as assigned Work Experience • 3+ years supporting enterprise-grade networks • Has strong experience and advanced knowledge in the following protocols & technologies: TCP/IP, DHCP, IPSEC, OSPF, BGP, IPSEC, DNS, NTP, VPNs, HA, QOS packet captures and analyses • Experience with log and monitoring aggregation tools such as SolarWinds and Wireshark • Experience with Rack & Stack at Data Centers • Experience with automation and scripting is a plus Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification • Bachelor of Science in a related field or equivalent experience • Nice to have: CCNP certification, AWS network certification, Palo Alto certification Knowledge/Skills • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with network platforms such as Palo Alto, Cisco, and Meraki • Knowledge and hands-on experience with multi-cloud network architecture best practices • Understanding of IP address concepts and experience with IP address management tools such as PHP, IPAM or Infoblox • Has advanced network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills • Has an understanding of cabling and power requirements and their best practices Management has the right to add or change duties and job requirements at any time. Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (annually) The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $127,000 - $145,000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual’s pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, however the salary range listed in this job posting reflects the base salary only.
