Major/Essential Functions:
Assist Refunds Department in creating and running refund related scripts for the purpose of posting them accurately and efficiently in the CBIZ System
Utilize systems and computers applications (Chase, Centricity, Informatics, Microsoft applications) in order to process and balance daily transactions
Assist Collection Agencies supervisor in processing, manipulating, and analyzing data in collection agencies' reports/worksheets for accuracy and easy interpretation of information to help in the preparation/issuance of monthly Collection Agencies' Reconciliation
Run weekly and monthly collection agency write-off reports
Assist Management Team in the preparation of various daily, weekly, monthly and annual MPIP Reports
Reports will include monthly and clinical productivity reports for leadership and administrators
Responsible for evaluation, design, and implementation of processes to improve service and business efficiency
Will analyze data related to workflow, processes, and reporting to create more efficient reporting tools/processes
Assist Management Team in the implementation, processing, posting, monitoring, reporting and reconciliation of second placement accounts within the CBIZ business environment
Generate and run IDX scripts to update/upload into the CBIZ environment all "returned accounts" (Accounts at the Collection Agency with no payment activity for more than a year) from the Collection Agencies to reclassify them as Uncollectible Bad Debt Accounts
Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting preferred
Experience with business analysis reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI
Experience with SQL queries and reporting
Understanding of computer programming and database design through education and/or experience
Experience with Banner/Cognos queries and reporting

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus four years progressively responsible related experience OR a combination of education and experience to equal eight years
Position Specific Qualifications
Experience in billing and collections preferred with basic knowledge of medical terminology
Experience with being able to perform reconciliations of financial data
Experience with database management, SQL, and contracting. Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Be able to perform queries over large collections of data and consolidate, summarize, or transform transaction data to support analytical reporting
Be able to conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses (financial, contract performance, cost/benefit, market, revenue, and organizational) related to the operations of patient care
Monitors and tracks financial activities related to department
Assists with development of reports and presentations for internal and external audiences
