Aerotek Electrical Assembly Technician/Builder in East Berlin, Pennsylvania

In search of a talented assembly technician with strong a strong electrical skillset

1st shift: 6:30-7am start time working 8 hours. Flexible schedule as long as you work 40 hours a week.

Pay: $25-$28/hr based on experience

Description:

Looking to hire a craftsman with an eagle-eye for detail who can step in and start working using a variety of tools and equipment to assemble machinery, fabricated metal parts, electrical equipment, sub-assemblies, and more according to clients’ specifications.

The Assembly Technician/Builder will assemble machinery, equipment and subassemblies following technical drawings and other written and/or verbal specifications along with understanding the overall machine design and purpose.

Once the custom-made equipment is shipped to the client, you will have the opportunity to travel, set-up and train clients on their piece of equipment.

Requirements:

Education and Experience::

5S & Lean Manufacturing experience

Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings

Ability to design electrical schematics would be a plus

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks for most of the workday.

Must be able to lift to 50-75 pounds at a time.

Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed.

Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
