Genesis10 is seeking a Information Architect/Data Architect for a contract with our client in Eagan, MN. 100% Remote. Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Information Architect/Data Architect to join our team to focus in on foundational initiatives which could be client implementations, enhancements, or compliance related initiatives within the data services organization. This is a combined role where they want someone who will understand the information flow of data which goes into their data warehouse and is consumable by BI and Reporting teams and then being able to also perform the role of a data architect. Key Responsibilities: Define and document enterprise information architecture principles, standards, and guidelines. Develop and maintain information models to represent business concepts, content types, and data assets. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand information needs and requirements and translate them into user-centric solutions. Design and implement information taxonomy and metadata strategies to enable efficient content organization and retrieval. Establish content governance frameworks, including content standards, content lifecycle management, and content publishing workflows. Conduct user research and usability testing to validate information architecture designs and improve user experiences. Serve as a subject matter expert on information architecture best practices, user-centered design principles, and accessibility standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define information requirements for new projects and initiatives. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior information architects and other team members. Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders in producing sound information and data architecture deliverables including concepts and models, at subject or domain-oriented level as well as product logical and implementation models. Recommend, document, and support delivery of pragmatic architecture to enable business outcomes while addressing major architectural concerns, such as performance, scalability, data quality and data privacy Collaborate with enterprise, solution, and other data architects in defining the information architecture blueprint, roadmap, reference architecture, principles, standards and best practices. Required Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Library Science, Human-Computer Interaction, other 4 year degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working as an Information Architect, UX/UI Designer, or related role. Strong understanding of information architecture concepts, principles, and best practices. Proficiency in information modeling tools and techniques, including card sorting, content inventories, and wireframing. Knowledge of user-centered design (UCD) methodologies, usability principles, and accessibility standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Information architecture certification(s) preferred. Understanding of providing the data layer for API's to use. They are looking to improve performance. Need a resource who can understand the broad flow of data at a higher level. There are four adjudication engines. Technology stack in the organization includes GCP, Snowflake and AWS in addition to various ETL and reporting tools. Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $ We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
