Job title: Data Engineer, Sr.

Job location: Dublin, OH and Unanticipated Client Sites across the US. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate domestically

Job duration: Permanent position, Full time, Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week.

Job Description: Assess current framework & processes for Data Ingestion, Data Preparation, Governance and Analytics. Understand complex business processes and translate them into requirements for visualizations. Design, develop and maintain reusable Data Extraction, Data ingestion processes. Architect, develop and deliver Enterprise level Data Pipelines and analytical solutions using Python, AWS, Big Data, Kubernetes, Kafka, Kinesis, Informatica, Cassandra, Sybase, Teradata. Optimize data structures and database schemas. Build real time ingestion services for optimal loading of data. Develop migration plan for web-based modules working on data transformations & structured development. Monitor the performance of the data sources and transformation runs.

Education and Experience required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering or IT or IS plus 5 years progressive experience in job offered or as Analyst or Engineer or Software Development. Prior work experience must include 2 years experience in Python, AWS, Big Data, Kubernetes, Kafka, Kinesis, Informatica, Cassandra, Sybase, Teradata.
