CAE USA INC Team Leader - Record Central Services in Dublin, Ireland

Role and Responsibilities

CAE Parc Aviation are presently accepting applications for a Team Leader - Record Central Services for our Technical Services team in Ireland.The Technical Services team provides specialized aircraft technical records services to Lessors and Airlines, facilitating a streamlined transition of aviation assets (Airframe and/or Engines) from one lease to another. On complex projects, beside the core transition service and technical records analysis, CAMO, Design and Boroscope services are packaged within the transition project, to be managed by the project team leader.The successful candidate can be based in Dublin or Shannon.Key requirements of the role:

  • Define aircraft transition projects based on client’s program scope and objectives

  • Prepare resource requirements and budget.

  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedules and work plans

  • Manage project progress, project cost and quality of deliverables

  • Communicate on a consistent basis with lessors, airlines, project team, other service providers and internal stakeholders.

  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.

  • Define and constantly evolve internal procedures.

  • Support the Sales / business development process for new projects

  • Manage digital technical records on the CAE cloud storage solution

  • Lead project team assigned to each project

  • Manage competencies of the team, including by delivering internal training

  • Support performance management and development of team members together with the department lead.

  • Supervise technical records review comprising among others:

  • Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Supplementary Type Certificate mods, Minor modifications, Landing Gear LLPs, Engines (SB’s, AD’s & LLPs), Structural Damages, maintenance status summaries, Outstanding Item List (OIL) closure

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in a project lead / team lead role in the aviation sector.

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in Aircraft engineering, as a Licensed Engineer or in an equivalent qualification, preferable experience in records management in the lease transition sector or a similar role within a Part 145 organisation.

  • Competent with IT applications (MS Office, Cloud storage, Airbus World, MyBoeing Fleet)

  • Good communicator (verbal and written) across organisations and with customers

  • Performance driven, Flexible and adaptable.

  • Pro-active approach to hitting targets and driving change.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally onsite or to meet customers.
