Tata Technologies, Inc.: PLM Systems Programmer/Analyst (multiple positions) -- Detroit, MI

DUTIES:

• Effectively communicate with the customer to understand their requirements and provide the solution.
• Capture technical requirements; perform feasibility check and effort estimation; create business requirements document and obtain approval; and map the requirements in the PLM system.
• Install application code, service pack, hot fix, license manager, etc. as per client requirements and check hardware and software compatibility as per given specification by principal software OEM for the effective performance of the application.
• Assist in the creation of training material with guidance from PLM Technical Lead/Architect
• Debug the source code for any issues reported and resolve the same.
• Participate in the testing of PLM software's existing and new functionalities · Deploy PLM software customization and configuration changes during production stages such as block point releases.
• Maintain continuous interaction with the customer and attempt to find new business opportunities.
• Based on previous experiences, provide the business with improvement ideas by analyzing the business needs and processes set up at the customer end.
• Take responsibility for transferring knowledge within the team whenever required.
• Perform requirements analysis, including documenting, tracing, prioritizing, and agreeing on requirements and then controlling change and communicating to relevant stakeholders.
• Design and develop application architecture.

• Support the change process in systems engineering, including the process of requesting, determining attainability, planning, implementing, and evaluating changes to a system.

   

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related technical field and 3 years of experience with PLM systems and/or processes.

Qualified candidate must possess experience with:

• 3DEXPERIENCE PLM

• CATIA V6 support and implementation.

   

Telework: Position eligible for full-time or part-time telecommuting with authorization from Manager and HR.
