Responsibilities Provide systems engineering and program management support expertise to U.S. Air Force customers advancing engineering program development related to R&D, acquisition, development and testing of cutting-edge technologies. Work closely with program managers, lead project engineers, and program teams. Advise on research demonstrations and testing opportunities, identify and mitigate program risks, advise on new technologies, and advise on emerging threat assessments. Analyze program requirements, attend design reviews, and evaluate plans for system assembly, testing, and demonstration. Evaluate contractor designs at the component and integrated systems level. Evaluate contractor plans for system assembly, integration, component/system level test, and demonstration/experiment planning and execution. Assist with review of contractor deliverable status, milestone schedules, status reports, and cost performance reports. Provide technical inputs during contractor design, test, and readiness reviews to facilitate on-time and fully-capable deliveries. Provide continuity and feedback between the program manager, project engineers, and test teams. Assist in the preparation of Broad Area Announcements (BAAs) and other contractual documents. Up to 20% travel in support of testing and technical interface exchange meetings Qualifications Education Requirement: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering, or related technical field is required. A Master's degree in a similar field is a highly desired. Required Qualifications: Security Clearance: TS with SCI eligibility.
