Because of our growth, we are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Analyst I in the Dayton, OH area. Reporting to the Manager, IT Supplier Management, the IT Procurement Analyst I role is established to manage the procurement and administration of IT assets and software firmwide. The IT Procurement Analyst I role performs and/or manages with a combination of purchasing, relationship, asset and cost management roles with IT Vendors and throughout the firm. He/she/they owns and must understand developing processes related to procurement, asset and license management, as well as the company's tools/best practices. Responsibilities Responsibilities include managing the procurement or commissioning of products and services through Help Desk Requests and other channels. Clear communication with requestors and adherence to asset management objectives with activities related to asset optimization, data entry and cost tracking. The proactive engagement of suppliers or internal stakeholders for mutual benefit to resolve operational incidents, problems, poor performance and other sources of conflict. Usage of clear escalation paths for discussing and resolving issues. Documenting all spend in alignment with Woolpert's current budgeting process. Strategy & Planning * Complies with procurement strategies, standards, methods, processes, and good practices that ensure compliance with legislation, regulation, and third-party information security. * Supports the organization by using agreed procedures to create to procure and maintain an accurate register of assets. Assets to be managed include components such as, but not limited to: computer hardware, hard drives, networking equipment, cloud services, and software licenses or agreements. * Manages user license assignment and revocation. * Ensures that asset data is uploaded to conduct asset reporting, benchmarking. * Provides advice on areas such as but not limited to, maintenance/warranty of hardware assets, software licensing and legal/contract obligations. * Creates an environment in which the organization and its suppliers collaborate to their mutual benefit, ensuring positive and effective working relationships are developed and maintained. Operational Responsibilities * Cradle-to-grave Procurement of IT Assets or Software o Help Desk Request>Purchase Requisition creation>workflow approvals>Purchase Order creation and submission>Confirmation of receipt of goods>ticket closure>Invoice approval to accounting. * Ensure that orders or contracts are placed in a timely manner to support smooth delivery of goods and services. * Clarifying requirements for products and services; ensures alignment to current Woolpert IT strategies. * Cost Tracking against Technology Budget * Performs activities related to the disbursement, reallocation, or removal of firm assets. * Actively supports and engages with experts and stakeholders to ensure business alignment. * Establish strong cross functional relationships with the IT Service Management team and Accounting/Finance.
