Description

Job Title: Regional Director of Operations - MID Region

Location: Dallas, TX

Summary: SkyHop Global, a leading provider of ground transportation for airline crews nationwide, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Director of Operations for the MID region. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role is pivotal in ensuring the effective day-to-day operations of our stations in the designated region. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership, reinforce a performance culture, and align teams to achieve service, safety, and financial goals.

Major Accountabilities:

Financial Performance:

Ensure each station in the region meets Company financial goals.

Analyze financial performance regularly and adjust plans with station leadership to achieve metrics.

Business Planning:

Conduct monthly business reviews with station leaders to align with key performance indicators.

Develop quarterly business plans to prepare for local events and unforeseen operational impacts.

Operational Excellence:

Ensure effective scheduling practices and proper LOD coverage at all stations.

Collaborate with HR for station recruiting and onboarding, ensuring proper staffing levels.

Talent Management:

Develop succession plans and recruit and develop talent at all levels.

Identify and develop designated trainers for station leaders and drivers.

Performance Management:

Address performance issues constructively and in a timely manner.

Act as the point of escalation for service issues, advising station leaders on reporting and documentation.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify operational improvements in areas such as route optimization, fleet utilization, and safety.

Leverage data to improve execution and engage station leaders in identifying improvements.

Safety and Compliance:

Build a best-in-class safety culture by implementing and enforcing safety policies.

Ensure compliance with Company policies through auditing and mitigation of risks.

Fleet Management:

Lead fleet managers to ensure proper maintenance schedules, vehicle availability, and compliance.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of multi-unit leadership experience, preferably in transportation, airline, hospitality, or retail.

• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to meet the needs of a 24/7/365 operation.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strategic thinking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to embrace diversity and motivate high-performing teams.

• P&L analysis experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• 50 – 75% travel required within the assigned region and to headquarters.
