Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Implementation and Support of the Network Infrastructure

•Be responsible for developing and deploying new and existing solutions that are part of the MSA global network, including cloud infrastructure. •Research and recommend new network technologies to enhance solutions. •Provide implementation and ongoing support of system(s) solutions according to MSA standards, policies, and procedures. •Assist and consult with other IT administrators at all global MSA sites for network solutions. •Maintain and update system documentation, design, and infrastructure configurations. •Work with third-party vendors and consultants on developing system-specific skills. •Provide primary support and operational knowledge of network solutions.

Infrastructure Security and Integrity

•Leverage cyber security best practices in network configuration. •Support creating business continuity/disaster recovery plans, including conducting disaster recovery tests, publishing test results, and making necessary changes to address deficiencies. •Collaborate with the cyber security team to ensure security controls are consistent with MSA policies/standards/guidelines.

Project Management

•Assist with developing and managing project plans to implement network technology solutions effectively. •Maintain effective change management. •Determine resource needs to complete a project. •Meet project schedule and/or milestones. •Gather and assess business requirements, develop and present solutions, produce design and migrating strategy documents, and provide guidance and knowledge transfer to support team(s).

Qualifications

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

•5+ years of data networking experience. •Proven network engineering, network operations, and network performance analysis skills. •Proven understanding of AWS services related to networking, such as Amazon VPC (Virtual Private Cloud), Amazon Route 53 (DNS), Amazon CloudFront (content delivery), AWS Direct Connect, and more. •Strong written and verbal communication skills. •Consistently meets or exceeds deadlines.

Preferred

•Configuration and troubleshooting skills with a Cisco infrastructure. •Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting languages. •Proven experience working with network carriers and ISPs to install and troubleshoot issues. •Experience with DevOps engineering environment. •Experience with NAC solutions like Cisco ISE in a distributed deployment environment. •Demonstrated ability to configure and troubleshoot Palo Alto technologies.

Education and Experience:

•Bachelor's Degree in Information Science, Computer Science or related discipline preferred. #LI-EE1
