Responsibilities include:

Designs, defines, and plans the manufacturing process. Specifies and directs installation of new processes. Plans equipment build schedules and monitors vendor progress. Defines and recommends equipment/method/process layout/materials/manpower changes in accord with recommendations for analyses conducted. Works to continually improve current processes by analyzing on a continual basis direct/indirect labor, equipment, and processing costs to ensure the most economical manufacturing procedures and processes are utilized. Determines manufacturing cost for quoting of new products requiring estimating standard hours needed to perform operations. Develops method instruction sheets for operations and instructs supervision and process specialist on method and efficient operating procedures for new/existing products. Applies ergonomic principles to methods and layouts. Previous experience with manufacturing methods/processes and PLC programming is desired. Should possess knowledge of CAD, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Industrial Engineering. Must possess good creative/advisory/informational/instructional/communication/problem solving/meeting skills.

REQUIREMENTS Education (High School, College, Other): 4 year bachelor degree is preferred

Specific Education Requirements: Requires 2-4 year engineering degree, plus 3 to 5 years manufacturing work experience.

Candidates with Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering degrees are preferred.

Specific Skills and/or Experience with Software, Equipment, etc.: MS Office, Autocad, Solidworks, Fanuc Robots, RSLogix, AB Panelbuilder, CTC HMI, Compumotor Equipment: Ultrasonic and vibration welding, automated vision and electrical testing
