Description

We are in search of a Systems Administrator to join our team in Coral Gables, Florida. In this role, you will be required to provide both desktop and server support, with a particular emphasis on Exchange 2013 and SharePoint 2013. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals skilled in Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Microsoft Exchange Server.

Responsibilities:

• Provide desktop support to ensure smooth operations and user satisfaction.

• Manage and maintain Exchange 2013 and SharePoint 2013 servers.

• Address server-related issues and provide timely solutions.

• Monitor server performance and take necessary actions to optimize it.

• Collaborate with the IT team to implement new systems or upgrade existing ones.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, printer and software issues reported to the helpdesk.

• Upgrade network hardware and software components as required.

• Install, configure, and network computers.

• Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.

• Develop and maintain an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment.

• Monitor and report licenses on applications to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Proficient in managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and configuring Microsoft Windows Server 2008

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Exchange Server

• Ability to implement and oversee system upgrades and patches

• Skilled in performing regular system backups and recovery

• Strong understanding of network protocols, routers, and switches

• Ability to manage and monitor installed systems and infrastructure

• Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems

• Ability to monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement fixes

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot network issues as they arise

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex systems to non-technical team members

• Demonstrated experience in maintaining system security and data integrity.
