Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions (a Taylor company) is seeking aSenior OpenText Exstream Dialogue Software Developerto join our team. This critical position will play a key role in designing, modifying, developing, and implementing software programming applications. This position is open to be 100% remote! Your Responsibilities: o Design & develop Exstream templates o Testing, maintaining, supporting, and documenting templates and document applications o Fluent with document design and Exstream Admin functions o End to end delivery and deployment of Application Packages o Review code changes for other Exstream developers and approve them for production release o Performs testing for developed applications. o Learn and maintain legacy systems and custom applications o Assist with creating standards and architecting new client solutions in Exstream. o Assure that all work performed on projects adheres to standards. o Clearly communicate verbally and in written form - articulating complex thoughts and ideas in small or large group settings o Able to work well in a collaborative team environment with various personalities o Work with limited direction on assignments. o Stays current with software and industry trends. o Work closely with Customer Service and Production to assist with print issues. o Ensures the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintains records for the documentation of systems development and revisions. o Mentorship of junior developers You Must Have: o 10+ years' experience object-oriented design/development experience using general purpose languages o 10+ years' experience utilizing OpenText Exstream Composition software, including design, development and implementation of technical solutions utilizing the tool o Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS o Ability to handle and keep track of a multitude of assignments at one time o Attention to detail, excellent organization skills and a sense of urgency o Excellent verbal and written communication skills o Solid analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills o Keen eye for Quality and process o Enjoys working as part of a team o Expertise with Windows development environment o Proven PDF/Postscript Technology Experience (Parsing, Generating, Manipulating) o Software design patterns o Good interpersonal skills o Proactive Team Member o No sponsorship provided We Would Also Prefer: o Experience utilizing XML input and output formats o Familiarity with one or more programming languages and SQL Server o Previous print and mail experience o Knowledge of other composition tools a plus (Quadient, Compart, Solimar, etc.) o Familiarity with Agile development process.
