Compensation: $243,400 to $267,740 Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime work schedule with up to two days per week remote work opportunities. General Summary: Under the direction of the executive director, lead the Information Technology Services (ITS) department. Establish and execute information technology (IT) strategy and ensure its integration with enterprise strategy and systems and the delivery of all information and technology capabilities required to achieve State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) goals. Summary of Responsibilities: Contribute actively to enterprise strategy and business capability strategic planning. Lead the development of the ITS strategic plan and roadmap. Act as a trusted advisor ensuring all business leaders can make confident decisions about the IT applications within their departments and across the system. Participate with Senior Staff and department leaders to drive a culture of change and digital business transformation. Oversee the development and implementation of secure processes and systems used to prevent, detect, mitigate and recover from cyberattacks. Provide oversight for the design, development, operation and support of IT systems and programs that fulfill the needs of the business. Lead the establishment and execution of a digital workplace strategy that enables the development of digital dexterity in the workforce, ensuring associates have the tools and work environment to be engaged, productive and effective. Develop and control annual ITS operating and capital budgets, consistent with the enterprise's overall strategic objectives. Engage with Human Resource Services (HRS) and key stakeholders to develop and execute an ITS workforce strategy; partner with HRS to continually identify innovative solutions for the recruitment, development and retention of an ITS workforce with the appropriate mix of business knowledge and technical skills. Summary of Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field required. Ten plus years' progressive experience in all areas of information technology. Seven to ten years of exceptional leadership responsibilities and skills with the ability to develop and communicate a vision that inspires and motivates staff required. Five or more years of experience in leading cross-functional teams or enterprise-wide programs, influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively within complex contexts preferred.
