Job Description

The Lending Support Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department to include coaching, mentoring, training and completing portfolio reports. This position must remain up to date as well as keep staff informed on current lending regulations and provide guidance and support to all staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Facilitate team meetings and provide leadership and motivation to staff to meet production and quality goals. The Supervisor will resolve escalated lending issues and other complex issues that are unable to be resolved by staff. This person will actively monitor daily functions and will recommend improvements of processes to gain efficiency wherever possible. Will serve as backup for the Lending Support Manager as well as other members of the Lending Support team.

Essential Functions Day-Day Operations Oversite: Responsible for day-to-day operations of the department, ongoing training, and providing direction to staff. Coach and mentor staff on incoming calls as well as other areas within the department. Facilitate team meetings, answer questions, provide leadership to include setting standards, perform quarterly check-ins, and prepare annual reviews. Portfolio Review and Tracking: Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure Ent's consumer lending portfolio is well-maintained and secure. Track flood insurance and remit to include payment and updating system information, track and receive title policies, and update the system. Review and balance department general ledgers. Review current processes and collaborate with IT on efficiency improvements. Escalations Oversite: Resolve escalated lending issues and communicate results to staff. Policy and Procedures: Review and edit Lending Support policies and procedures. Department coverage: Serve as backup for the Lending Support Manager and back up all positions within the department as needed. Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications

Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position Associate's Degree in financial services, business management, or another related field of study. 5+ years' lending experience to include: 1+ years' Lead/Coordinator/Supervisor experience. 3+ years' advanced loan calculation experience. Pref

Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Advanced knowledge of loan products. Advanced knowledge of lending terminology and process flow. Advanced knowledge lending regulations. Organized, detail oriented, flexible and, able to multi-task in an ever-changing environment. Display positive, professional demeanor and work independently with little supervision. Self-motivated. Ability to mentor new staff. Initiative to meet and/ r exceed job standards and willingness to take on other tasks that support the goals of the Credit Union.
