Kratos is seeking a Software Engineer with Orbital Flight Dynamics experience for the following responsibili Work on OASYS (Orbit Analysis System) interfaced to the EPOCH IPS (Integrated Product Suite) system that provides an integrated, object-oriented graphical environment for spacecraft mission analysis Develop tools to support daily on-orbit tasks, such as operational satellite maneuvers, launch and orbit operations, orbit determination Develop OASYS user interface Ensure OA product accuracy and assist in fault isolation, software anomaly analysis, and resolution Perform special studies as necessary Provide technical support and expertise to developers / testers / integrators Define and develop design and interface concepts and plans Interface with other members of the project team, program management, prime contractor personnel, subcontractors, users/consumers, and suppliers to meet project, group, and company objectives Assess design changes and associated system impacts Perform risk analysis and mitigation Develop and write technical reports Keyword: Orbital anayisis, C++, Perl and UNIX shell scripting Required Experience:

7+ years of job related experience BS in software, computer, or electrical engineering field Experience developing and configuring flight dynamics systems for use in supporting orbiting satellites Programming experience in C++, Perl and UNIX shell scripting Ability to develop on Windows and Linux Platforms Proficiency in Mechanics, Orbit Dynamics, and Astrodynamics Skills to accommodate a fast-paced software intensive development environment to diagnose and mitigate technical anomalies New product development experience Experience working cross-functionally across an organization Ability to work independently and to be self-motivated US citizen. Must be capable of gaining TS/SCI clearance with counter intelligence polygraph Desired Skills and Experience Currently active Security Clearance preferred - Level TS/SCI Satellite telemetry and commanding Space vehicle command and control experience Space operations experience Integration and test experience for complex software-intensive projects Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware) and Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) Programming experience in JAVA and JavaScript Experience using MatLab #LI-Hybrid,i#LI-Onsite Competitive salary based on experience and education Salary Range: $140,000-$170,000 Kratos is valued for our ability to design and deliver leading edge, resilient solutions for aerospace communication, control, awareness and mission success across a continuum of offeringsifrom commercial to tailored custom solutions and integrated programs.
