SAIC PNT IMD Mission Integrator in COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado

Description

SAIC is seeking a PNT Integrated Mission Delta (IMD) Mission Integrator to join our diverse Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Team. The Team provides specialized engineering, analysis, planning and execution to integrate the PNT and Global Positioning System (GPS) Enterprise.

As a PNT IMD Mission Integrator, you will work closely with the Space Force PNT Mission Integration leadership, support staff, PNT stakeholders, and GPS Prime contractors to gather and synthesize information that facilitates government customer leadership’s decision-making on major defense programs. You will analyze technical programs and contracts that deliver and sustain capabilities to warfighters, the civil community and international partners. You will contribute to a diverse set of dynamic efforts to integrate PNT capabilities, warfighter/user/operator requirements, directives, commitments, operational/sustainment needs, and budgets across a portfolio of acquisitions, operations, projects, and studies.

Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Delivering expertise, guidance, and recommendations across all areas pertaining to PNT Mission Integration

  • Facilitating/leading discussions and engagements between principal stakeholders to ensure progress in resolving IMD top priority integration challenges

  • Developing/managing the overarching approach and processes for integrating, synchronizing, tracking and analyzing dependencies across programmatic and organizational boundaries

  • Generating and presenting products, views, reports and other outputs that support the GPS program, stakeholder and higher-headquarters (HHQ) decision making, risk management and strategic communications, synthesizing information at multiple levels of detail into cohesive outputs

  • Conducting PNT Enterprise-level planning, prioritization and scheduling to ensure the alignment of GPS capabilities, requirements, directives, commitments, and operational and sustainment needs with the programmatic and technical baselines that document their implementation

  • Improving/managing fundamental processes for technical planning and scheduling at the GPS Enterprise level, including key inputs, sub-processes/actions, tools/techniques, outputs, roles and responsibilities

  • Conducting top-down capabilities decomposition approach to develop and synchronize plans, identify dependencies between stakeholders, recommend priorities, and capture schedule forecasts

  • Identifying gaps and recommending solutions for delivering and sustaining capabilities to the warfighter, civil community and international partners, fulfilling HHQ directives and complying with public laws, meeting PNT IMD commitments to acquisition leadership and operational stakeholders, evolving GPS systems to meet operational needs, guarding against emerging threats, prioritizing workload, synchronizing timelines, and allocating resources

  • Conducting analyses to trace acquisition and sustainment efforts to capabilities, functions and requirements, as well as tracing high-level requirements to system, segment level requirements

  • Collecting/synthesizing information, decomposing requirements, and managing gaps in a structured, consistent manner

  • Generating documentation to demonstrate compliance with requirements and products to communicate the PNT IMD’s progress toward delivering capabilities into operations

  • Populate engineering and data models with up-to-date information to enable automated integration analyses

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BS with 9+ years’ experience in systems engineering and integration for space enterprises

  • Experience working with Air Force/Space Force/DoD customers in an acquisition, sustainment, and/or Operational environment, with space and/or ground systems

  • Experience with industry tools for engineering requirements and modeling, such as DOORS, SparxEA, and CAMEO

  • Active SECRET Security Clearance

Desired:

  • PNT or GPS experience highly desired

  • MS in Engineering or relevant STEM discipline

Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
