Clearance: Active current TS+

Job Duties

Support the mission of Cyber security with respect to event management Provide subject matter expertise with DoD Cyber security assessment tools and procedures, network security architecture and design, and security technical implementation guides (STIG), and with a focus on network monitoring Manage network design, device selection, installation, configuration, optimization, and troubleshoot the government network Evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network Other contract duties as assigned

Skills:

3+ years of experience with information assurance, network engineering, or operational support to DoD supporting information operations, Cyber operations, system administration, systems security, or a similar field Experience with DoD C&A and Cyber security programs implementing, operating, managing, and documenting Network Management Systems (NMS) for event management. 3+ years of experience with monitoring tools, SCOM, WUG, Solar Winds, Splunk etc. Knowledge of STIG and Network Monitoring Cyber security policies Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer. Experience with USAF/DoD systems a plus Commitment to maintaining the highest standard of customer service with outstanding written and oral communication

Qualifications:

Ability to work rotating 24 x 7 shifts Tier 2 level knowledge of network monitoring systems and solutions Solid written and verbal communication skills Strong investigative drive, excellent listening skills, and the ability to self-motivate individuals Experience with multiple DoD networks
