To learn more, please visit www.ierustech.com/benefits Description: This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as a Compliance/Patching System Administrator supporting a large Missile Defense Agency program. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree and 7+ years experience or bachelor with 9+ years experience or equivalent. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: acting as the primary group for testing and applying patches on all main software/application systems on the system, including workstations and servers; supporting the system by continuously interacting with the cyber team compliance team to remediate any vulnerabilities found during automated or manual cyber scans; potentially functioning in project leadership roles and representing the organization as prime customer contact on significant technical matters on contracts. Required Qualifications: • B.S. in Engineering/Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. • Must be a US citizen with an active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and SAP. • 5-6 years experience with patching in an enterprise-level system. • Experience with writing standard operating procedures (SOP) documentation. • Ability to build documentation to outline a full testing strategy for regression of functionality after patching workstation/servers. • Monitor systems asset compliance via Tenable Security Center to coordinate a testing strategy for patching found vulnerabilities. • Administer patching solutions, such as Tanium, WSUS, and YUM. • Identify and work with component owners to build subset groups for patching testing prior to wide deployment of enterprise patching. • Coordinate with system owners to patch specific products/solutions, such as server applications, user workstations, etc. • Perform continuous vulnerability patching schedules based on cyber tool scan scoring and authorized schedules authorized by the appropriate board. • Notify the user base of upcoming patches and any projected impacts from this patching activity, such as reboots and/or introducing new features. Desired Qualifications • Experience with patching solutions such as WSUS, YUM, and Tanium. • Testing patches using a systematic process to limit the impact to the user base. Location: Colorado Springs, CO The proposed salary range for this position is $109.4k - $160.2k. Salaries are commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications within the experience bandwidth, as well as market and business considerations.
