Actalent Project Manager - Software/Firmware in Cleveland, Ohio

Description:

We are looking for a principal project manager that will be coordinating with internal firmware/software architects and 3rd party vendors to do the development of an implantable medical device.

Must Have:

Engineering Degree in Computer Engineer/Computer Science or Electrical Engineering + 10 years of experience

8+ years of Project/Program Management Experience

8+ years of experience with medical devices

Experience with Class III Medical Devices

Experience coordinating / managing projects utilizing 3rd party vendor relationships

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES/DUTIES

  • Develops detailed plans in alignment with strategic objectives of the program, including master schedules, budgets, program milestones, and key program tasks

and deliverables

  • Provides guidance and direction to core team as necessary to define clear goals and to evaluate progress

  • Identifies and assists in clearing barriers to effective progress

  • Resolves program resource issues and facilitates reallocation of activities and efforts to ensure schedules are achieved

  • Conducts financial evaluation of programs.

  • Facilitates all core team meetings and tracks progress against the project plan

  • Complies with US FDA regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes and task assignments.

  • Maintains positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors and vendors

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS degree

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience leading broad, multi-disciplinary teams, preferably in a medical device industry

  • Demonstrated experience in leading projects and programs
