ManpowerGroup Info Security Analyst in Cleveland, Ohio

Our client, the operational banking industry, is seeking a security analyst to join their team. We are seeking a security analyst with a strong background in security and technology, coupled with expertise in risk management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for participating in technology access control reviews, line of business projects, and identifying security risks. The candidate must possess experience with access controls for various resources such as Windows, Linux, databases (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2), network appliances, and mainframes. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to analyze complex security issues, perform remediation efforts, and create/own new security standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in technology access control reviews and line of business projects.

  • Identify security risks and analyze complex security issues.

  • Perform remediation efforts and create/own new security standards.

  • Provide security requirements and decisions.

  • Communicate effectively with lines of business and technology groups.

  • Provide corporate security consulting support for concurrent projects.

  • Maintain adequate documentation regarding decisions and work performed.

  • Escalate problems in a timely manner.

  • Interpret security policy and standards and consult on security variance requests.

  • Translate information security terminology into terms that are understandable to diverse groups.

  • Partner and collaborate with business and technology groups to deliver value through security review, assessment, and consulting services.

  • Interface with internal and external audit partners.

  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships with multiple constituencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Three to five years of experience in technology-related auditing, consulting, programming, and/or operational banking.

  • IAM experience or background is desired.

  • Subject matter expert-level expertise and knowledge of both the business and technical aspects of security and technology.

  • Strong broad-based technical background (distributed/mainframe, database, web-based application development, and/or cloud).

  • High level of business acumen, preferably in a regulated/financial industry.

  • Strong risk-based analysis and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to make quick fact-based decisions.

  • Ability to work outside of your comfort zone.

  • Ability to understand and analyze complex business processes and technologies to make sound recommendations.

  • Project management and/or project team member experience.

  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

  • Process management, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and relationship management skills.

  • Proven ability to effectively handle challenging clients and difficult political situations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to create and implement new processes and procedures.

  • Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Must be willing to work after-hours, overnights, and weekends. On-call rotation is required.
