Overdrive, Inc. HRIS Specialist in Cleveland, Ohio

This position will require you to be located in Cleveland, OH We are in a hybrid schedule, 2 days on campus and 3 days WFH.

The HRIS Specialist responsibilities include maintenance of the HRIS - including data integrity, reporting, training, and providing a positive employee experience with the system. This role ensures that the organization complies with all current federal, and applicable state and international laws and regulations pertaining to employee electronic records.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to maintain all facets of HR Information System, entering and updating data into the system in a timely manner.
  • Complete regular timely audits of HRIS data to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.  
  • Responsible for creating, modifying, and running HRIS reports as directed for various HR related functions, and as requested for other departments and approved outside entities. 
  • Set up and monitor connections and integrations between HRIS and third parties.
  • Perform administrator functions such as user management, data inputs, updates and controls, profile and role creation, management and setting permissions and assignment rules.
  • Manage workflow approval process for electronic document acknowledgement.
  • Oversee and maintain optimal functions of HRIS instances to include implementation, customization, development, maintenance, testing and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
  • Responsible for building, testing, and monitoring annual processes within the HRIS including open enrollment and performance management.
  • Communicate with employees and managers regarding HRIS questions and concerns. 
  • Draft and send HRIS related communication to staff with input from Manager, HR Services.
  • Stay current with HRIS training and apply information learned in daily work; share with other users via agreed upon methods.
  • Stay informed and ensure compliance with applicable international, federal, state and local employee information / records retention requirements. 

     Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 2-3 years of HRIS experience (HCM, payroll, time, time off modules).
  • Previous experience with Dayforce HCM preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with customer-focused orientation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and previous auditing experience.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
