Job Number: R0193444 Cybersecurity Policy Lead Key Role: Serve as Cybersecurity Policy Lead for the Cybersecurity client. Manage the lifecycle of all Cybersecurity and Privacy policies, including editing policies that are well-written, effective, and both internally consistent and consistent with Federal policies, laws, and regulations. Serve as the liaison with senior leaders and executives across the client's repertoire of Cybersecurity and Privacy policies. Brief and translate technical concepts to a range of functional audiences, including senior leaders across the Agency. Ensure Cybersecurity and Privacy policies incorporate the NIST Risk Management Framework and best practices for risk management and mitigation. Analyze how the client's Cybersecurity and Privacy policies map to Federal policies, laws, and regulations, and provide recommendations on remediating gaps. Identify opportunities and propose ways to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the client's Cybersecurity and Privacy policies such as through consolidation, restructure, or reorganization. Lead the creation of studies, reports, and other deliverables regarding Cybersecurity and Privacy policy in response to inquiries from Congress, the Office of Management and Budget, and other external parties. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience working in Cybersecurity 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams Experience drafting and delivering executive or formal senior-level correspondence and material to senior government officials Experience with existing federal cybersecurity policies and guidance, including the NIST 800 series Experience writing final-version documents in a consistent style and format Experience managing document lifecycles from initial draft to final publication Experience analyzing a large body of documentation, and creating and using tools or solutions to trace relationships HS diploma or GED Additional Qualification: Experience with management or program analysis Experience using GitHub Knowledge of the Privacy Act, Freedom of Information Act, or FISMA Ability to address complex programmatic issues, conduct risk analysis, and propose innovative and achievable solutions Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations and briefings Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and strict attention to detail Bachelor's degree Security+ and RMF Certifications Create Your Career: Grow With Us Your growth matters to us-that's why we offer a variety of ways for you to develop your career.
