Cleveland-Cliffs is in search of an Associate IT Endpoint Engineer at our Headquarters office in Cleveland, Ohio. The Associate IT Endpoint Engineer is a member of the IT End User Experience (EUX) team and is responsible for the administration of enterprise level systems including Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, IT security software, security patching, and encryption software. The Associate IT Endpoint Engineer assists in the design, development, implementation, and support of technical components of business applications. They assist with the development of specifications, test scripts, reports, interfaces, distribution packages and apps, images, templates, and documentation associated with EUX-managed applications. The Associate IT Endpoint Engineer also possesses a basic understanding of business processes that the technology supports. The primary role of the Associate IT Endpoint Engineer is both to enable IT site support personnel to efficiently and expertly support end-user devices and directly support end-user hardware by leveraging enterprise system management tools. Summary of Responsibilities: Assists in the design and development of programs, scripts, reports, interfaces, distribution packages, images, provisioning templates, replication of data stores, policies, procedures and system configuration Provides technical/analytical support for applications and associated layered products frequently working directly with IT end user support personnel. Performs troubleshooting using critical thinking skills and performs root cause analysis Supports system administration, security, and hardware set up Participates in smaller projects by assisting in the development of overall test plans Assists in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive test suite for target applications Provides input into technical standards Supports system patches and upgrades Participates in disaster recovery tests and planning Maintains applicable professional certifications and current technical knowledge Supports internal and external audit processes Identifies opportunities to improve existing processes and solutions, keeping IT support personnel and the end user in mind Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree in related field or 3 years experience in IT Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator A+ certification Network + certification Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
