The Workday Lead for Talent and Learning will work with minimal direct supervision to assist with design and implementation of the talent and learning modules within Workday as well as ongoing support post implementation. Will administer configurations in Workday including standard configurations, business process configurations, and straightforward report writing.To take on project work from HRIS leadership and be a key resource for leaders in the USA and Canada. Major Responsibilities Lead design and implementation of the talent and learning modules through strategic relationship and influencing key decision makers. Partner supporting the talent and learning areas in the USA and Canada in ensuring the company is following external best practices. Provide consultation & impact analysis to organization, building knowledge, gathering requirements, designing & configuring solutions. Responsible for the data configurations in the Workday system relevant to the role (i.e.: Modules, Tables, Hierarchies, Security, Releases, Profiles). Research and architect solutions and advise/counsel the functional business leaders and program owners. Oversee tasks assigned to supporting analyst(s). Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the usage of Workday. Configure, test validate and implement Business Process Changes in Workday. Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Workday. Collaborate with stakeholders on system changes to roll out a new process. Lead weekly/biweekly communications with key stakeholders and HR leaders. Coordinate with other Functional Leads on projects that have cross-team implications. Responsible for resolution of Tier 2 (functional & Integration configurations) Help desk issues and to act as a resource for Tier 3 (SME data) as requested.Be solutions oriented when users identify functionality issues with the system and escalate these issues to the appropriate individuals to address in a responsive and timely manner, if necessary. Promote change management efforts including adoption of new systems and functionality, programs, and process changes. Minimum Experience or Skills Required Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience. Solid experience with talent (performance management, succession planning, etc.) and learning management systems. 3 or more years' experience on an HRIS team or the equivalent with Workday configurations. Ability to work within a team structure, collaborating closely with colleagues to achieve assigned tasks. Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of accuracy, and attention to detail and organization. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to think in terms of conditional logic and cause-and-effect impact. Develop an understanding and expertise of HR Operations and employee data management. Able to learn new skills, adapt quickly and embrace change Travel approximately 10%.
