The Social Services Manager is responsible for the leadership, management, supervision, and accountability of the Social Work Department to provide quality, patient centered social work services. Areas include the Emergency Room Medical Social Workers, Office of Decedent Affairs Social Workers, and Outpatient Social Services teams. Coordinate all resources and activities necessary for patient throughput, progression, and disposition. Identify and address through the escalation process any internal or external barriers that prevent and/or interfere with the delivery of quality services. Offer support and feedback to staff to maintain professional practice.Master of Social Work degree from an accredited School of Social Work Licensed Independent Social Worker by the State of Ohio Social Work Board (LISW) Certification or working towards eligibility within 2 years of start of role; LISW-S preferred. 3 years clinical supervisory experience in Social Work About UC Health UC Health is an integrated academic health system serving Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Manage, supervise, and monitor activities of supervisors, Master's prepared social workers, support staff; and social work students in assigned areas.
