POSITION SUMMARY The Electrical Engineering Intern provides an opportunity to learn how to design controls solutions and the basics of ACAD Electrical for material handling equipment. Learn equipment requirements, business and customer requirements that drive the design of the electrical schematics. Participate in electrical hardware design and generating schematics. Seeking Local University Students: Must be Local - Students/Interns going to school in the OKI area, or are from the area. To build MAS team long term. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Use ACAD Electrical * Learn to interface with internal and external customers as well as electrical engineering, PLC Engineering and project management to determine system requirements * Understanding of electrical principles * Understanding of motor control as well as device requirements/placement * Possible 10-20% travel to job site * Additional duties are assigned QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS * Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program at a four-year college or university in a Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology related field. * High/Basic degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications. * Strong/Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills. * Strong/Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning). * Solid/Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts. * Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients. * Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. * Ability to work with and influence peers and management. * Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting. * Ability to work overtime as necessary. * Must have current driver's license.
