Job Description

Insight Global's large American multinational food client is looking for a UI/Interaction Designer to join their Design team. Reporting to the Visual Design Lead, the UI/Interaction Designer will be responsible for elevating and enhancing the enterprise design system in all aspects, with a primary focus on front-end design. This will involve building out their component library, establishing principles about motion and interactive states, identifying and expanding their icon library and illustration library, and working on select projects to showcase how the design system can enhance the individual product experience.

The Head of Enterprise Design and User Experience was brought on to support and build out their Enterprise Design Practice from scratch. They did not have a design practice before this, and the product/engineering teams were making the decisions. Since then, the teams have been broken down into specific disciplines listed below. For this reason, they are looking for someone who is specialized and can deep dive in their practice.

* Data Visualization & Design

* UX Design team

* Design Strategy & Enterprise Design

* Service Design team

Skills and Requirements

* 7 years of Interaction Design experience with experience working in and enhancing large-scale design systems.

* Applying design systems and guidelines to a broad range of front-end applications, dashboards, and reports.

o Build out component library, establish principles about motion/interactive states, identify and expand icon/illustration library.

* Figma

* Portfolio presenting high design acumen (NO print work) * Development of Gen AI design patterns null
