Amazon Web Services is looking for a highly motivated Solutions Architect to help accelerate our growing healthcare AI/ML business as part of the World Wide Public Sector group. As a Solutions Architect within AWS, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build broad use of Amazon's machine learning services (i.e. Bedrock, SageMaker) directly with customers and our ecosystem of system integrators and solution providers. Your broad responsibilities will include leveraging your domain expertise in healthcare machine learning to: own the technical engagement and ultimate success of specific global customer implementation projects; define implementation architectures, build prototypes, develop a deep expertise in the AWS technologies; and be a subject matter expert on security as it relates to healthcare machine learning.

As a Solutions Architect on our team, you will provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to the global healthcare market for cloud computing, while working with a world class sales and business development team. You will be a global technical leader in healthcare machine learning within AWS, building and leading internal communities to deliver for healthcare organizations and software vendors. You will gain the opportunity to learn from, collaborate with, and educate some of the brightest technical minds in the industry today across the breadth of enterprise architecture.

The role will work with an assortment of healthcare partners and customers, including some of the leading providers of healthcare organizations.

• Executive speaking and technical presentation skills – White board, small and large group presentations

• Technical – healthcare machine learning development/deployment, architecture, and/or cloud computing experience

• Operational – IT services operations, management, and security

• Ability to travel up to 30%

Basic Qualifications

• Experience architecting infrastructure solutions for machine learning.

• Experience developing and implementing machine learning solutions for healthcare organizations.

• A comprehensive understanding of traditional ML and generative AI, including data preparation, training, and production implementation of models.

• Experience formally or informally leading technical teams

• Experience advising executives on technology decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing ML for clinical decision support.

• Experience training foundation models.

• Experience advising healthcare organization C-suite members on ML strategy.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $122,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
