As the Director - Imaging Logistics, you will be responsible for leading our team through the overall logistics strategy, activation, and execution from supplier to customer focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost initiatives for our Imaging business. This role requires deep knowledge of logistics, transportation, supply chain processes, finance, and the ability to analyze complex data to drive operational optimization, efficiency, while providing a cost-effective delivery model.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Safety and Quality Compliance: Champion a safety-first approach throughout all logistics processes and ensure adherence to logistics quality standards. Implement robust control measures to identify and address any potential safety or quality issues promptly.

  • People Leadership and Development: Lead and develop individuals working on logistics teams supporting Imaging and in our MICT, MRI, WHXR, and IGT businesses.

  • Cost Management and Optimization: Analyze logistics-related costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising service quality. Implement strategies to achieve cost efficiencies and actively manage logistics budgets. Break down barriers for teams to enable to simplify projects and execute seamlessly.

  • Data-driven Decision Making: Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to extract insights from complex logistics data. Leverage data-driven insights to make informed decisions, drive operational optimization, and build business cases to enable effective total cost returns on investment.

  • Drive Lean: Utilize lean principals and tools to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies / waste, and implement best practices across the logistics network. In-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area is integrated with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

  • Primary Logistics Point of Contact: Act as the primary liaison for logistics matters within the Imaging business. Collaborate, build, and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with executive leadership, product, engineering, supply chain functions, and finance teams to ensure smooth logistics operations and project implementation.

  • Change Management Leadership: Lead change management initiatives to elevate logistics operations to a world-class level. Collaborate with internal logistics teams and regional operations to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Develop and maintain cross-functional partnerships with sourcing, production, operations, supply chain and finance to identify improvement opportunities and implement successful changes.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 9 years of work experience in logistics, material management, warehousing, or supply chain management

  • Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills Demonstrated ability to identify and implement Best Practices and deal with high levels of ambiguity

  • Experience leading and developing direct reports

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Power Point, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or MS in Logistics, Engineering or Supply Chain

  • Demonstrated logistics leadership of multiple facilities in a similar industry

  • Proven ability to work on cross-functional, multi-cultural teams

  • Ability to energize, develop and influence at all levels within an organization Able to deliver company goals through creation and comprehensive communication of practical “hands-on” operational plans and strategies

  • Proven growth leadership skills demonstrating clear perspective and understanding of factors impacting GEHC businesses and our suppliers

  • Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience with communicating with others from different countries and cultures
