Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Secret cleared Microsoft Systems Engineer to support a smaller federal client of ours onsite in Charleston, SC. The main task at update multiple government networking systems through system engineering and software development. The day-to-day will include:

• Provide knowledge in systems engineering and information technology

• Develop solutions to solve problems and implement enhancements

• Investigate and resolve issues that span multiple applications/technologies and require involvement from technical personnel across multiple groups

• Develop and/or revise system designs and architectures to improve efficiency, stability, effectiveness, supportability, and sustainability

• Install test branches on physical hardware on lab equipment as first level integration tests

Skills and Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance or higher

• Security+ certification

• Strong foundation in systems engineering

• Proven experience with Windows-based server products

• Experience with automation, specifically PowerShell scripting - Experience with virtualization null
