Ferguson is hiring a HR Business Partner ! This position reports into the Director of HR Business Partners with a strong dotted line into District Leadership.

The HR Business Partner is a strategic partner and works with their business leaders to build and implement the HR strategy. They identify gaps and areas of opportunity and work together to develop an approach to support business growth. The HRBP will ensure the associates needs are met in the district via the development and execution of implementation plans.

Location:

This is a Hybrid role based out of Chandler, AZ or Aurora, CO locations, in accordance with the Ferguson Flex schedule; 3 days in office / 2 days remote. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the District Manager to formulate an HR strategy and execution plan in alignment with the business strategy.

  • Identify and nurture the essential skills and capabilities required for current and future success.

  • Implement succession planning by identifying high-potential individuals, devising individual development plans for future leaders, and addressing workforce demographic shifts, such as retirement and labor shortages.

  • Align business objectives with training programs to cultivate highly skilled associates.

  • Support the company's diversity and inclusion strategy.

  • Provide leadership training, development, and mentoring.

  • Oversee compensation planning, reviews, and analysis.

  • Lead initiatives related to culture and associate engagement, including action planning.

  • Contribute to organization design to ensure an effective structure for achieving business goals.

  • Enhance organizational effectiveness by optimizing team connections and eliminating barriers.

  • Assist in resolving employment practice issues as they arise.

  • Drive corporate wellness programs and initiatives.

  • Manage post-acquisition integration activities.

  • Coordinate and implement emergency response efforts when necessary.

  • Participate in Union related activities as needed within the District

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Previous experience as a strategic HRBP or related strongly preferred

  • Experience ideal in the following key HR areas: performance management, talent review, succession planning, coaching leaders, diversity and inclusion, change management and organizational design.

  • Travel as needed, which may include overnight stays (20-30%)

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude

  • Dedication to excellence and associate well-being

  • Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented abilities

  • Proven time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines

  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving environment

  • Proficiency in educating, persuading, and influencing leadership

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

Pay Range:

$7,949.70 - $14,968.80

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
