The Patient Care Coordinator role is in partnership with a Fortune 500 healthcare client, focusing on optimizing the patient registration process and enhancing patient experiences. Responsibilities:

• Appropriately identifying patients and confirming their identity.

• Collecting accurate and thorough patient demographic information.

• Obtaining insurance details and verifying eligibility and benefits.

• Determining and collecting patient financial liabilities.

• Referring patients to the Patient Registration Specialist for financial counseling or clearance when necessary.

• Adhering to organizational policies and procedures for resolving patient financial liabilities.

• Serving as an information resource for patients and families, explaining hospital policies, patient financial responsibilities, and Patient Rights and Responsibilities.

  Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.

• Previous experience in healthcare registration or related field preferred.

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and entry.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification processes, and HIPAA regulations.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
