Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $95900 - $129400 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities

  • Set clear team goals and KPIs aligned with business objectives, conduct performance reviews, and foster professional development

  • Prioritize and manage data engineering projects to meet business needs and deadlines, overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines

  • Manage data warehousing, processing, and extraction processes, ensuring high standards of data quality and integrity

  • Integrate new data technologies and software engineering tools, providing technical guidance on complex challenges, and ensuring stability and scalability of the data infrastructure

  • Demonstrateproficiency in relevant technologies and continuously seek improvements to data processes and systems for enhanced efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or similar STEM field preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in data engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a management or leadership role

  • Extensive experience following End to End Agile Development Lifecycle

  • Strong technical background in Python, Databricks, AWS services, Alation, Airflow, and SQL

  • Experience with various data ingestion patterns, such as RESTful APIs, SQL, flat-file, and Data Streams

  • Extensive experience aligning data from disparate sources with varying granularity and CI/CD best practices

  • Extensive experience with handling large data sets, high performance computing, building high performance solutions, and data integration projects

  • Extensive experience with integration testing and automation using a continuous integration platform such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Bamboo
