Job Summary:

The Master Data Reliability Systems Program Manager will be responsible for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System master data management for Messer North America including Master Material Master Data Management and Plant Maintenance Master Data Management, and lead or participate improvement projects. Will be required support all facets of master and transactional data in the EAM system, including changes as well as be responsible for the EAM reporting environment. The role will support all business areas across North America and require ability to work with remote individuals and teams.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for spare part materials master data management, including the creation, update, extension, and inactivation of spare part materials across the Messer organization to meet business needs.
  • Ensure visibility across the organization of required statistical and financial measures to ensure tracking of spare part inventory levels across the Messer organization to meet business and operating needs.
  • Responsible for periodic consumption analysis of spare parts inventory to provide recommendations on minimum holdings quantity and location across North America.
  • Responsible to provide data, and make necessary master data updates, for Messer's internal sourcing program management.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to assist field locations with materials management issues or questions.
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of all EAM System master data including, location, equipment, equipment spare part bill of materials, task lists, maintenance plans and other master data required for effective EAM system operation.
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all global tasklists and maintenance plans shared across Messer North America.
  • Support the critical spare parts program, assisting with development of recommended critical spare parts holdings and master data creation for critical spares.
  • Manage first line support for all EAM system helpdesk tickets, determines which are passed to IS for resolution.
  • Support all changes to the EAM system as well as the user interface (UI), including development of user requirement specifications (URS), integration, testing, and controlled released of the software updates.
  • Champion EAM system usage and correct issues to promote efficient use of the system.
  • Responsible for the Maintenance & Reliability section of the analytics reporting environment, working with IS for all changes and additions to the system.
  • Provides analysis and expertise on EAM system business processes and data to support internal and external financial, safety and process audits and any actions or findings noted are acted up on and corrected in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Education/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of EAM system experience in industry or equivalent

Other requirements and qualifications:

  • Broad knowledge of materials management, methods, and procedures.
  • Proven knowledge and experience working with SAP Plant Maintenance system.
  • A keen attention to detail, must be able to analyze many pieces of data daily.
  • Demonstrated technical skills and working knowledge of an industrial environment.
  • Air Separation experience and knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
