Our Team:

The Marketing & Commercial Strategy team creates and implements customer centric solutions to fully realize the potential of our innovative portfolio and future pipeline. This requires going beyond differentiated (BIC/FIC) vaccine assets to manage complex product operations and devising competitive customer experience advantages. The team includes marketing, early commercial leadership and product operations. The product operations team provides a strategic advantage as part of brand value propositions delivering best in class customer experiences. The leader of this team is accountable for product demand integration into global process, managing the partnership with distribution partners, executing the complex product delivery needs of the portfolio and designing/implementing delivery solutions to achieve best in class customer experiences vital to deliver the US Vaccine’s budget, directly impacting over $3B in revenue.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure product supply and delivery plans are sufficient to deliver customer commitments and expectations including setting customer targets, establishing service level agreements with external partners (eg. DHL distribution), monitoring performance and triaging readiness for respiratory season volume shipments.

  • Manage distribution governance leading joint steering committee with supply chain.

  • Lead the process to forecast delivery needs and ensure there is sufficient capacity to manage business needs.

  • Integrate and partner with Vaxserve to create One Sanofi product delivery solutions.

  • Represent the voice of the customer in brand customer journey’s and identify a strategic plan to produce best in class delivery results.

  • Implement industry leading solutions to delight the customer including inventory management, automated free returns, delivery integration into e-commerce solutions and supply chain management tool integration within Health systems.

  • Design Flu time to market and customer mix allocations managing continuous strategic alignment with manufacturing and supply chain to achieve prebook shipping commitments.

  • Problem solve supply plan adjustments based on manufacturing releases, disease state evolution, market gaps and customer segmentation.

  • Lead the Beyfortus allocation and reservation program.

  • Lead the Mainline advance purchase program.

  • Create segment specific accommodations, including Long-term-care facilities, Employee Health, Pediatrics and Retail Markets

  • Provide concierge service offerings for prioritized customers define by brand strategies

About you

Basic qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required

  • A minimum of 10 years’ pharmaceutical or vaccines experience across both marketing and sales

  • Experience working with global supply chain and manufacturing groups

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership /people management experience is required

  • This position may require up to 30% overall business travel

Preferred qualifications:

· Advanced degree (e.g. Master of Science, MBA, MD, PhD, PharmD)

· Experience working directly with distributors and implementing customer delivery solutions
