Job Description

A company in the Aurora area is looking for a Secret cleared jr Cyber Security Engineer to join their team. This engineer will be responsible for ensuring security compliance and vulnerability scanning/remediation across multiple platforms and networks. They will also be handling system configuration and audit scanning as well as performing hands-on technical implementation of security solutions. Knowledge of Tenable Nessus is crucial for this role. This Cyber Security Engineer will need to be comfortable working fully on-site in Aurora with some work performed at the customer location in Colorado Springs, CO

Skills and Requirements

Active Secret Clearance.

- 2+ years of hand on Cyber Security engineering

• Experience using Tenable Nessus

- Vulnerability assessment and analysis experience utilizing Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and DISA STIGs.

• Experience/knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and continuous monitoring. Vulnerability assessment and threat hunting,

- DoD 8570 level II certification (or the ability to obtain one within 120 days

• Experience and understanding of working in a Linux environment Active TS/SCI

Linux system administration

HW and SW life cycle management null
