Insight Global Technical Lead in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

Insight Global is sourcing for a Technical Lead-Software Engineering to join a not-for-profit community based healthcare organization. The Technical Lead is responsible for leading projects focused on development and support/maintenance of software solutions, including but not limited to integrations, web applications and services, API, ETL processes, batch, and/or job orchestration spanning all systems and functional areas. The Technical Lead is expected to be hands on in full stack development, while effectively leading (organizing, guiding, and mentoring) software engineers and projects. The Technical Lead is expected to be a SME in the claims domain; claims, medical claims and operations, pharmacy operations, claims adjudication, etc. This position is 100% remote as a 6-month contract to hire.

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline

-At least 8 years of hands-on software engineering experience and supporting IT productions operations

-At least 5 years of experience with C# and .NET, specifically leading software engineering, front-end web, systems integrations, API, back-end batch processing, and/or ETL teams

-Previous healthcare industry experience, including a payor or managed care organization and with associated information systems.

-At least 5 years of Azure cloud experience

-Understanding of software design constructs (design patterns, REST, Event-Driven integrations, microservices, etc.)

-Experience with Domain Driven Design and Event Driven Architecture -Azure Data Factory background

-Azure cloud certifications

-Masters degree in software engineering or relevant background null
