As a Cloud Product Marketing Manager in CNBU you will have ownership and responsibility to manage the business aspects of bringing products and product lines to the market. Your influence and contribution will be throughout the product life cycle from early development phase all the way through EOL!

The product marketing manager is a key interface both to external and internal customers, working closely with Product Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Customers and Business Operations teams, as well as other functions in Micron.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive segment goals through effective product definition, positioning, promotion, and pricing strategies

  • Manage product life cycle and global business activities (e.g., GTM plans, portfolio/roadmap management, EOL planning, competitor research)

  • Align quarterly and yearly business plan targets for segment

  • Work Account Strategies to ensure the success of Micron business plans

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and success to plans

  • Collaborate with marketing partners in marketing and sales forecast reconciliation (MSR) forums

  • Implement forecasts for MSR activities, plan product transitions and ramps, review customer plans and sales forecast

  • Highlight and review key changes in the demand forecast and supporting assumptions

  • Lead and Analyze Forecast Scenario Options

  • Be the market expertise focal point

  • Consolidate customer, market data and strategies to drive product output mix

  • Manage supply and customer plans to increase margins for Micron

  • Manage and maintain quarterly bottom’s up customer TAM

  • Manage and maintain customer LTA performance to plan

  • Collaborate with business development and other teams to collect requirements for new products, features or improvements

  • Passion for continuously improving the process, tools, reporting, and communications to achieve business goals

  • Improve Sales and Customer engagement in Asia region with collateral and training tools

Qualifications

Successful candidates for this position will have the following:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant product management, marketing, supply chain experience, preferably with high-tech products

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a fast-changing environment

  • Ability to work in a global and multicultural team environment and maintain good relationships with worldwide team members and customers.

  • High degree of collaboration, building trust and teamwork is required

  • Strong analytic skills

  • Proficient in seeing the big picture while paying attention to detail

  • Knowledge of tools for data organization and analytics is preferred

  • Intermediate to sophisticated level of expertise with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook, SharePoint experience a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration across time zones

  • Comfort in dealing with ambiguity

  • Ability to work under continual deadline constraints

  • Knowledge of Cloud Server markets and/or volatile and non- volatile memory is preferred

  • Travel expected <10%

Education

Bachelor Degree in a relevant field such as:

  • Marketing

  • Finance

  • Engineering

  • Supply Chain Management

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$113,000.00 - $246,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
