Responsibilities:

• Hang drywalland drywall on walls and ceilings according to blueprints and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and fit drywallpanels to the appropriate size.
• Install metal stud framing and track systems for supporting drywall.
• Apply caulk, tape, and mud to seams and joints for a smooth finish.
• Repair or replace damaged drywallpanels as needed.
• Install fixtures, such as electrical outlets and light switches, into drywallwalls.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure accurate installation.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sheetrock Hanger or similar role.
• Proficient in frame carpentry techniques for installing metal stud framing.
• Knowledge of drywall installation techniques, including taping, mudding, and sanding.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading to understand project specifications.
• Experience in fixture installation, such as electrical outlets and light switches.
• Understanding of masonry work for repairing or replacing damaged drywallpanels.
• Knowledge of stucco application and mold remediation is a plus.
