BUNZL Customer Service Representative (BethPage, NY Area) in Bethpage, New York

Description

Pay Rate $22.00-$26.00 per hour

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering questions and finding solutions for the customer as well as act as a liaison between the sales force and the customer.

Shift: 8:00 A.M. - 5 P.M.

This position is 100% In Office in our BethPage, NY location . This position is overtime eligible. The normal working hours for this position will be Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. However, subject to business needs, you may be required to work the 11:00am to 8:00pm shift with advanced notice.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering customer inquiries, entering and successfully processing orders as needed via the AS400

  • Investigating customer problems and/or complaints to successful resolution

  • Maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers with exceptional service

  • Function as a liaison between customer service and other branch departments, National Accounts and/or Sales Representatives to provide product pricing and product research

  • Expediting orders as required

  • Working effectively in a team environment to meet business goals and objectives

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment. Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Ability to effectively work in a Windows environment with experience in Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Experience with IBM AS400 operating system a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Problem solver with the ability to multi-task using judgment and decision-making skills

  • Excellent detail-oriented customer service skills
