Together, we won't stop! Job Overview T-Mobile for Business's (TFB) Strategy & Planning Team works with executive leaders from across the company to build the business strategy for TFB. As the Sr. Business Strategist, you focus on identifying growth opportunities for our key products (e.g., Internet of Things), tracking market trends and competitors, and delivering insights on critical business decisions. This position works closely with Product, Finance, Marketing, Technology, and Sales. Job Responsibilities: Takes a leading role on projects, working closely with internal stakeholders to understand key business issues, structure and perform complex analyses, and influence key decisions. Synthesizes recommendations and understands their impact on the business. Constructs executive-level presentations and presents complex findings in a clear, concise, and visually compelling manner. Identifies company and competitor trends impacting TFB and delivers insights to executives across the organization. Builds financial and other decision-making models such as market share and business case estimates. Works with cross-functional stakeholders to gain buy-in and drive change. Coordinates cross-functional activities, such as Earnings Call and Board of Directors preparations. Crafts messaging tailored to specific audiences including summarizing past performance results and future growth initiatives. Supports strategy project leads on ad-hoc team deliverables. Education: Bachelor's Degree Business, Management, Economics, Statistics, or related field (Required) Master's/Advanced Degree MBA - Finance, Strategy, Economics (Preferred) Work Experience: 7-10 years Management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or other related experience requiring quantitative analysis and executive presentation skills. (Required) Less than 2 years Prior experience in B2B, Product Strategy, and/or Telecom. (Preferred) 4-7 years Strategy and Problem Solving experience in framing complex problems, identifying key issues that impact business decisions and providing data driven recommendations. (Required) 4-7 years Financial modeling and Analytics. Experience in developing financial models and performing financial and operating analysis and reporting, including analyzing complex data. (Required) Less than 2 years Project management. Experience managing project independently, engaging and getting buy-in from stakeholders, creating roadmaps and project plans. (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strategy Proactive problem solver who can break ambiguous problems into pieces using a hypothesis-driven approach. Ability to frame problems, use strategic frameworks, develop strategies. (Required) Business Acumen Business Model: Knowledge and understanding of business models, pricing strategies, channel management. Analytical and data-driven, comfortable triangulating data to estimate market sizes and build financial models. (Required) Financial Analysis Ability to build financial models and develop qualitative analysis, perform sensitivity analysis. Comfortable reading and understanding implications of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements. (Required) Communication Ability to synthesize analysis into succinct, executive-ready written, visual, and verbal communications.
