Description
The purpose of this position is to develop a sustainable growth strategy for the next 3-5 years for continued market leadership and delivery of financial commitments. He/she must be able to create customer value proposition by shaping ecosystem through effective internal & external partnerships. He/she must create a high performing & diverse team with a customer centricity and collaborative culture.
Key Responsibility Areas
Responsible for all marketing and sales activities to achieve the business' objectives within business policies and guidelines as well as departmental budget.
At this level, the position has a direct contribution to the development of business and/or functional strategies
and typically, responsibility for managing multiple teams of professionals.
Directs marketing and sales activities to ensure that short- and long-range sales volumes and projects are achieved.
Collaborates with product development staff to implement product modifications or improvements to product line.
Provides input for the development of products which anticipate and serve a customer need/solution approach.
Oversees the development of sales processes and pricing models.
Motivates marketing and sales staff. Coaches and mentors subordinates and appraises subordinate performance.
Develops and implements short- and long-range sales and marketing plans.
Formulates marketing objectives, policies, sales organization structure, sales and marketing programs to achieve maximum sales and profit. Identifies new markets and applications to assure volume growth.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
10 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing
Prior experience in healthcare space preferably Medical Devices Knowledge and Experience
Experience of industry, markets, competitors, patients, and customers
Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly develop followership amount teams.
Track record of successful recruitment and development of people managers and strong leadership team
Proven history of achieving business results over time including sustained business growth in develop markets
Demonstrated success of collaboration and interface with critical internal and external stakeholders and substantial customer interface.
Broad business acumen and full P&L management experience.
Demonstrated ability of driving necessary strategic change to meet changing business needs and exploring new business models.
Multi-function experience: understands business processes, compliance, high negotiation skills and has passion to achieve sustained, superior results.
Visionary leadership, preferably demonstrated in different business environments and models
Models Credo Values – demonstrates strong values, ethics and communication skills that establishes a culture of trust and transparency
Global mindset, experience in different cultures and marketplaces preferred.

Post Graduate qualification in management from premier B-School
Experience of managing a sizable P&L
