DESCRIPTION OF WORK You will be performing semi-skilled manual work in the construction, maintenance, and operation of state park property, equipment, and facilities. You may be performing the semi-skilled work independently, assisting a skilled worker, or act as lead worker over a small crew performing routine tasks. The work you will be doing would involve the use of a large variety of construction, maintenance equipment, and tools in many different tasks that frequently require the application of skills acquired on the job.  You will also assist with wildfire suppression and prevention program.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Seasonal full-time employment without benefits. The season runs from approximately March through November. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Overtime and travel may be required for emergencies and/or training. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Condition of Employment:

This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
